Wildflower Soul Sanctuary, Horse Connection & the Deeper Wildflower Path

Some people will come to The Wildflower Field for coffee.

Some will come to create.

Some will come for the flowers.

And some will arrive because something inside them is asking for a little more space.

There are lots of ways to enter The Wildflower Field.

Maybe someone sends you a photo and says:

“We need to go here for coffee.”

Maybe the Creative Bar catches your attention.

Maybe you discover one of our Wildflower Lessons.

Perhaps you come to a Soulful Saturday.

Bring Mum.

Join a workshop.

Sit around the Gathering Table.

Wander amongst the flowers.

And that might be everything you ever want from this world.

Beautiful.

But there's another path growing here too.

A quieter one.

It leads towards the horses.

Into nature.

Towards reflection, energy, stillness and deeper connection.

This is where you'll begin to discover:

And perhaps more importantly...

this is where the deeper roots of The Wildflower Method become something you can actually experience.

reiki in the flower field

This part of the story actually came first

Long before The Wildflower Field had coffee...

before Gather & Graze...

before the Creative Bar...

there was another part of my world quietly growing.

Creativity.

Journaling.

Meditation.

Mindfulness.

Reiki.

Energy work.

Sound.

Nature.

And horses.

For a long time, they felt like lots of separate branches.

I kept trying to work out where each one belonged.

Was creativity one business?

Was Reiki another?

Where did the horses fit?

What about journaling?

What about everything I'd learned through my own experiences of slowing down and reconnecting with myself?

Then eventually I realised:

Maybe they're not separate things at all.

Maybe they're simply different pathways towards the same thing.

Connection.

And that's where The Wildflower Method began to make so much more sense.

The Wildflower Method isn't one activity

This is really important.

The Wildflower Method isn't:

journaling.

It isn't:

Reiki.

It isn't:

horse connection.

It isn't:

creativity.

Those are tools and experiences that can sit within it.

At its heart, the Wildflower Method is about creating space to slow down enough to notice yourself again.

Sometimes that happens with a paintbrush.

Sometimes a journal.

Sometimes standing amongst flowers.

Sometimes sitting quietly.

Sometimes around a table with someone you love.

And sometimes...

standing beside a horse.

Different paths.

Same garden.

There's something different about being with horses

This is one of the paths I'm particularly passionate about exploring.

Because horses don't need our polished version.

They don't care about our job.

Our qualifications.

Our social media.

Whether the washing is folded.

Whether we've answered the emails.

They don't need the story we've prepared about how everything is:

“Fine.”

They're responding to what's happening in the moment.

And to spend time with them, we need to begin paying attention to the moment too.

Their body language.

Our body language.

Space.

Pressure.

Movement.

Breathing.

Energy.

Connection.

And that creates an entirely different kind of experience.

You don't need to ride

When people hear:

“experience with horses”

they can immediately imagine riding.

That's not what Wildflower Connection is about.

Our work happens primarily on the ground.

You don't need riding experience.

You don't need to know how to saddle a horse.

You don't need to be a “horse person.”

And you don't need to arrive feeling completely confident around them.

The experience isn't about learning to ride.

It's about learning to notice.

The horse.

The environment.

The interaction.

And perhaps yourself.

The horses aren't props

This matters enormously to me.

The horses aren't standing in the Field waiting to perform a healing trick.

They're horses.

Living animals with their own personalities, boundaries, preferences and responses.

Some days they may be interested.

Sometimes less so.

And that's part of working authentically with them.

We're not trying to force a particular moment because it would make a good Instagram photo.

We're learning to pay attention to what is actually happening.

Sometimes what doesn't happen can be just as interesting as what does.

And we're not trying to force a breakthrough

This is another thing I want to protect as these experiences grow.

You don't need to stand beside a horse and suddenly uncover the meaning of your entire life.

Maybe you notice something.

Maybe you don't.

Perhaps you become aware of how quickly you move.

Maybe you notice how you respond when the horse moves away.

Perhaps you experience what it feels like when connection can't be rushed.

Or maybe...

you simply spend some peaceful time outside with a beautiful animal.

That's allowed too.

The Wildflower Method isn't about manufacturing transformation.

It's about creating conditions where noticing and connection can happen.

Horses ask us to slow down in a different way

You can rush through a journal prompt.

You can technically rush through meditation.

You can even rush your relaxing.

We humans are talented like that.

Horses make that much harder.

They have their own timing.

You can't simply announce:

“Right, Maggie, we have twenty minutes. Please provide my meaningful insight now.”

Good luck with that.

You need to observe.

Wait.

Adjust.

Respond.

And sometimes do less.

That's a lesson many of us could use.

Then there's Wildflower Soul Sanctuary

The horses are one pathway into the deeper Wildflower work.

Think of it as the quieter corner of The Wildflower Field.

A space for experiences that may include things such as:

Reiki.

Energy work.

Meditation.

Sound.

Journaling.

Creative reflection.

Mindfulness.

Nature.

Quiet ritual.

And, within particular experiences, connection with horses.

Some experiences might include several of these.

Others might focus on one.

We don't need to squeeze every tool into every session.

The experience gets to have space.

“Okay... but Reiki is a bit woo-woo for me.”

I know.

And this is exactly why I want to talk about it openly.

Some people will see the word Reiki and immediately think:

YES.

Others:

Absolutely not.

And there's a huge group in the middle saying:

“I don't really understand it, but I'm curious.”

All three are welcome in The Wildflower Field.

You don't need to believe exactly what I believe.

You don't need to understand energy work.

And you definitely don't need to participate in it.

If you're curious about a particular experience, we'll explain what it involves so you can decide whether it feels right for you.

That's it.

You don't need to be “spiritual enough”

There isn't a spirituality test.

No chakra quiz.

No crystal identification challenge.

You don't need to meditate every morning.

You don't need to know anything about Reiki.

You don't need to use the same language I use.

Maybe your experience of slowing down happens through nature.

Maybe creativity.

Maybe the horses.

Maybe sound.

Maybe meditation.

Maybe prayer or quiet reflection has meaning for you.

Maybe you're simply curious.

You are allowed to experience something without having to adopt somebody else's beliefs around it.

Sometimes the doorway is sound

There are times when we don't want another conversation.

Another question.

Another thing to work out.

We just want to stop.

This is one reason I love sound.

You can sit.

Or lie down.

Listen.

Breathe.

Notice.

There is nothing you need to produce.

Nothing you need to make.

No correct answer.

Sound can become another invitation into stillness.

And for someone whose brain rarely seems to stop...

sometimes having something gentle to focus on makes quiet feel much more accessible.

Sometimes the doorway is your journal

This is where the creative and deeper sides of the Wildflower Method begin to overlap beautifully.

Because sometimes there are things we don't quite know how to say.

But give us a page...

and something begins.

Maybe you write.

Maybe you collage.

Choose an image.

Add a word.

Use flowers.

Make marks.

Answer a prompt.

Or simply sit with a question.

A journal doesn't need to give you answers.

Sometimes it simply gives your thoughts somewhere to land.

And creativity can change depending on the intention

This is one of the things I love most about our Wildflower world.

The exact same creative materials can be used in completely different ways.

At the Creative Bar, you might choose some papers because:

“They're pretty.”

Perfect.

At a deeper Wildflower experience, you might choose papers around an intention, question or feeling.

Same paper.

Same glue.

Different purpose.

Creativity is allowed to be light and playful.

And it can also become reflective.

You choose the depth.

Nature holds all of this together

This is why bringing everything home to The Wildflower Field has made so much sense.

We don't need to create nature artificially.

We're already in it.

Sky.

Grass.

Flowers.

Birds.

Weather.

Horses.

Seasons.

Some days the Field will be bursting with colour.

Other seasons will be quieter.

That's part of what nature teaches us.

We don't always need to be blooming.

There are seasons for growth.

Rest.

Letting go.

Beginning again.

Waiting.

The Wildflower Method isn't about demanding that you bloom every day.

It's about learning to honour the season you're actually in.

And this is where the deeper Wildflower Method is growing

I'm not interested in creating a method that promises:

Five steps to fix your entire life by Friday.

Human beings are more complicated than that.

And I think our paths are much more individual.

Instead, The Wildflower Method gives us different ways to explore:

Gather.

Create.

Connect.

And within the deeper work...

space to reflect, notice and reconnect.

The tools may change.

The intention underneath them remains.

Horse connection gives this work something uniquely ours

There are lots of places where you can experience Reiki.

There are lots of meditation classes.

Lots of journals.

Lots of creative workshops.

And all of those things can be wonderful.

But bringing the horses, nature, creativity and the Wildflower Method together allows us to create something that feels deeply connected to this place.

Not a treatment room that could exist anywhere.

The Field itself becomes part of the experience.

The horses become part of the environment.

The seasons become part of it.

That's the direction I'm especially excited to explore.

You might never walk down this path

And that's completely okay.

Maybe you read all of this and think:

“Lovely, Jodie. I'll be over at Gather & Graze with my cookie.”

Excellent.

I'll see you there.

You don't need to go deeper simply because deeper experiences exist.

The Wildflower Field isn't designed as a funnel where coffee eventually leads everybody into healing work.

It's a garden.

You choose where you wander.

Some people will come for flowers.

Some creativity.

Some coffee.

Some horses.

Some connection.

Some quiet.

And some will want a little of everything.

But perhaps one day something catches you

Maybe you've visited before.

You know the Field.

You've had coffee.

Made something.

Come to a Gathering.

Then one day you see:

Or:

Or:

Creative Reflection + Sound.

Or a Wildflower retreat.

And something in you says:

“I'd like to try that.”

That's enough.

You don't need a dramatic reason.

Curiosity is enough to open the next gate.

This work will grow slowly too

I think this is important to say.

The deeper Wildflower work isn't something I want to rush just because we've given it a name.

It will grow through experience.

Practice.

Learning.

Working alongside the horses.

Listening.

Trying.

Refining.

Discovering what genuinely serves the people who come here.

The Wildflower Method itself can grow like the Field.

Seed by seed.

Season by season.

We don't need to know exactly what every flower will look like before we plant the first one.

Maybe that's the whole point

For so long, I've loved step-by-step processes.

A roadmap.

A clear beginning and end.

And there's value in structure.

But the Wildflower Method is teaching me something different too.

We can have a path without forcing everyone to walk it in exactly the same way.

We can create structure...

and still leave room for the person.

The horse.

The season.

The moment.

Maybe that's what makes this method different.

Not:

“Follow my exact path.”

But:

“Here are some garden gates. Let's discover which one helps you reconnect with yourself.”

Your invitation

You don't need to begin with the deepest thing.

Actually, please don't feel like you should.

Start wherever you're curious.

Come to The Wildflower Field.

Have coffee at Gather & Graze.

Wander through the flowers.

Sit around the Gathering Table.

Come to a workshop.

Meet the horses from a distance.

Join a Gathering.

And if, one day, you're curious about the quieter side of this world...

there'll be another little gate.

Through it you'll find experiences with nature, journaling, creativity, sound, energy and horses.

Not because there's something wrong with you.

But because sometimes we all need somewhere that gives us permission to stop...

listen...

and reconnect.

Follow The Wildflower Field and Wildflower Soul Sanctuary as our horse connection and deeper Wildflower Method experiences begin to grow — and when something catches your curiosity, follow that path.

Gather • Create • Connect
